Senior Software Engineer (m/f/d)


Sysparency is a young and up-and-coming startup that has set itself the goal of making legacy systems transparent again. In doing so, Sysparency draws on a world first that was developed over the past 10 years together with the Software Competence Center Hagenberg.

Sysparency supports medium-sized companies and corporations in understanding the complex IT landscape better in order to be able to modernize it accordingly.

As a fully financed start-up, we are now looking for someone to join our team for further growth

Senior Software Engineer (m/f/d)

As a Senior Software Engineer for complex digitization and software replacement projects, you will take responsibility for a project team to successfully implement trend-setting solutions for our customers.


  • Development and design of a cloud solution for the automated post-documentation of software
  • Adaptation of the algorithms to customer requirements
  • Cooperation with Software Competence Center Hagenberg
  • Responsible contact person of the customer and use of cross-selling opportunities
  • Responsible technical contact person of the customer
  • Collaboration on the conception, design and architecture of the Sysparency platform
  • Participation in the further development of our own product portfolio


  • Successful completion of a degree in (business) informatics or a degree with a high IT relevance
  • Sound knowledge in software development:
    • Java and Java frameworks
    • cloud technologies
    • Web applications (ideally ReactJS)
    • Web Services
  • Basic knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps, Microservices, Kubernetes
  • Experience with machine learning/AI an advantage
  • Interest in different programming languages
  • Familiar with working in agile teams
  • Communicative, friendly and confident appearance
  • Independent way of working
  • Hands on mentality
  • Ambitious, ready for further training and enthusiastic about the topics of digitization and artificial intelligence

We offer for this position the collective agreement minimum wage of EUR 3.094,- gross on a full-time basis (38,5h). Depending on qualifications and previous experience, there is of course the willingness to overpay. We will discuss your future earning potential and career options personally in a joint meeting.
